Keeping home environments in order and furnishing them with care represents a duty that no one can escape, since the house reflects the character of each and needs to be valued in all its parts. In this regard, to personalize your interior and exterior environments, you can think of a vase for plants, which in addition to being very comfortable and functional, manages to have a decorative function and make the house elegant, enhancing it in all its parts. The house needs to have a space dedicated to flowers and plants and, therefore, it is good to choose the most suitable plant pot for your tastes and the architectural style of the house.

There are many models available on the market regarding the choice of a vase for plants, in order to allow everyone to select the vase that best suits their needs; there are all sizes, to accommodate small and medium-sized plants, but also very large ones. There are also many materials used to create a vase for plants, such as PVC, terracotta, wood, cement and natural stones, to satisfy the needs of each person.

PVC is one of the most used materials to make a pot for plants, since it is a very resistant material and is suitable both inside and outside the house, in fact it is able to withstand attacks from atmospheric agents well and is immune to humidity, in fact it is hydrophobic; moreover, it does not fear any type of acid and is also fireproof. The PVC used to build a plant pot is very insulating and allows the soil of the plant to always maintain the same temperature even in the case of strong temperature changes; despite the fact that oil is obtained, PVC is not polluting, since it is 100% recycled in order to be reused for the construction of new objects. PVC has a sturdiness and solidity that are unknown to other materials and, furthermore, it does not need excessive maintenance, since it can also be cleaned only with the help of a damp cloth.

Terracotta is certainly the most used material for the creation of a vase for plants, since it is a completely natural material and is not perceived as a foreign body by the plant; moreover, being natural, it does not damage the environment, because it can be disposed of without causing damage. The porosity of the terracotta allows the plant pot to let the soil transpire and absorb any excess water; moreover, the reddish color of this material allows it to adapt to any type of furnishing and architectural style, in order to satisfy everyone's needs. If the plant has been watered excessively, the terracotta plant pot throws an alarm bell, ie it has a green wet layer on the superficial part that must be washed away promptly.

Wood is also widely used for the construction of a generic plant pot, since its naturalness allows it to be confused with the environment in which it is inserted; the wood used to build a plant pot is called solid wood, which represents that wood taken directly from the trunk of the trees, to give the pot greater solidity, strength and durability over time. Thanks to its ductility, the wooden plant pot can be decorated with inlays and motifs of various kinds, in order to better enhance the home environments and, furthermore, being a material rich in nuances, it allows to change color easily. Wood is a 100% eco-sustainable material, in fact at the end of its life cycle, the plant pot can be biologically degraded without causing any damage to the surrounding environment.

Cement is one of the most present materials in green spaces, since a concrete plant pot is endowed with excellent resistance, in fact it is a very robust material that does not fear the attacks of atmospheric agents; usually cement is used to create a kind of pot for plants to be used in public places, since it is resistant to shocks and to any kind of damage. You can choose if, for the plant pot, keep the gray color of the cement, or decorate it with various materials.

A plant vase covered with natural stones is the best for a garden, as natural stones can give the home a great elegance and enhance its aesthetic appearance. Among the most used natural stones to coat a plant pot, porphyry stands out, which is hardly stained and is also very resistant to bad weather, but also slate that with its particular color tending to black, can give a touch of originality to the garden of every house.
